Transportation Code § 252.104","heading":"BOND OF ROAD COMMISSIONER.","body":"(a) Before assuming the duties of a road commissioner, a road commissioner must execute a bond with one or more good and sufficient sureties payable to the county judge in the amount of $1,000, conditioned on the faithful performance of the road commissioner's duties.\n(b) To be effective, the bond must be approved by the county judge.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
