Transportation Code § 284.071","heading":"CONTROLLED ACCESS TO TOLL ROAD.","body":"(a) The commissioners court of a county by order may designate a toll road established for the county under this chapter as a controlled-access toll road.\n(b) The commissioners court by order may:\n(1) deny use of or access to or from the toll road by a motor vehicle, bicycle, or other vehicle or by a pedestrian;\n(2) deny access to or from:\n(A) the toll road;\n(B) real property adjacent to the toll road; or\n(C) a street, road, alley, highway, or other public or private way intersecting the toll road;\n(3) designate locations on the toll road at which access to or from the toll road is permitted;\n(4) control, restrict, and determine the type and extent of access permitted at a designated location of access to the toll road; or\n(5) erect appropriate protective devices to preserve the utility, integrity, and use of the toll road.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
