Transportation Code § 286.062","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Public water\" includes a public stream, river, bay, or lake.\n(2) \"Navigable stream\" has the meaning assigned by Section 21.001, Natural Resources Code.\n(3) \"Public lake\" means a lake in which the state owns the bed, or reserves for the state's residents the right of access to the lake for fishing, boating, hunting, or other recreation.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
