Transportation Code § 370.260","heading":"CERTAIN CONTRACTS AND SALES PROHIBITED.","body":"(a) A director, agent, or employee of an authority may not:\n(1) contract with the authority; or\n(2) be directly or indirectly interested in:\n(A) a contract with the authority; or\n(B) the sale of property to the authority.\n(b) A person who violates Subsection (a) is liable for a civil penalty to the authority in an amount not to exceed $1,000.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1325, Sec. 2.01, eff.
