Transportation Code § 370.351","heading":"TRANSIT SYSTEMS.","body":"(a) An authority may construct, own, operate, and maintain a transit system.\n(b) An authority shall determine each transit route, including transit route changes.\n(c) This chapter does not prohibit an authority, municipality, or transit provider from providing any service that complements a transit system, including providing parking garages, special transportation for persons who are disabled or elderly, or medical transportation services.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 281 (H.B. 2702), Sec. 2.76, eff.
