Transportation Code § 391.064","heading":"SURETY BOND.","body":"(a) The surety bond required of an applicant for a license under Section 391.062 must be:\n(1) in the amount of $2,500 for each county in the state in which the person erects or maintains a commercial sign; and\n(2) payable to the commission for reimbursement for removal costs of a commercial sign that the license holder unlawfully erects or maintains.\n(b) A person may not be required to provide more than $10,000 in surety bonds.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
