Transportation Code § 394.002","heading":"APPLICATION OF CHAPTER.","body":"(a) This chapter applies only to a sign that is:\n(1) outdoors; and\n(2) visible from the main-traveled way of a rural road.\n(b) In this section, \"rural road\" means a road, street, way, or bridge:\n(1) that is located in an unincorporated area;\n(2) that is not privately owned or controlled;\n(3) any part of which is open to the public for vehicular traffic; and\n(4) that is under the jurisdiction of this state or a political subdivision of this state.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
