Transportation Code § 394.0204","heading":"SURETY BOND.","body":"(a) The surety bond required of an applicant for a license under Section 394.0202 must be:\n(1) in the amount of $2,500 for each county in the state in which the person erects or maintains an off-premise sign; and\n(2) payable to the commission for reimbursement for removal costs of an off-premise sign that the license holder unlawfully erects or maintains.\n(b) A person may not be required to provide more than $10,000 in surety bonds.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1345 (S.B. 1420), Sec. 49(a), eff.
