Transportation Code § 395.004","heading":"MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES.","body":"(a) If the governing body adopts a rule under this subchapter that applies to a sign on property located in the territory of a municipality that has adopted an ordinance regulating the placement of a sign on the property, the rule must be at least as stringent as the ordinance.\n(b) This subchapter does not affect the authority of a municipality to adopt an ordinance regulating the placement of a sign within the view of a toll road located in the territory of the municipality.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
