Transportation Code § 431.003","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Board\" means the board of directors of a corporation organized under this chapter.\n(2) \"Corporation\" means a corporation organized under this chapter and includes a local government corporation.\n(3) \"Local government\" means:\n(A) a municipality;\n(B) a county; or\n(C) for purposes of Subchapter D:\n(i) a navigation district, hospital district, or hospital authority;\n(ii) a regional transportation authority governed by Chapter 452;\n(iii) a rapid transit authority governed by Chapter 451; or\n(iv) a coordinated county transportation authority governed by Chapter 460.\n(4) \"Local government corporation\" means a corporation incorporated as provided by Subchapter D to act on behalf of a local government.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
