Transportation Code § 431.029","heading":"ADVISORY DIRECTORS.","body":"(a) The board may appoint any number of advisory directors.\n(b) An advisory director advises and assists the directors in promoting and developing new and expanded transportation facilities and systems.\n(c) An advisory director serves until the completion of a particular project or at the will of the directors.\n(d) An advisory director does not have a vote in the affairs of the corporation.\n(e) An advisory director serves without compensation. The corporation may not reimburse an advisory director for expenses incurred in the performance of the director's duties.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
