Transportation Code § 431.068","heading":"CONSTRUCTION OR IMPROVEMENT CONTRACTS.","body":"(a) A corporation may contract with the commission to:\n(1) construct or improve a transportation project designated by the commission; and\n(2) sell the project or improvement to the commission.\n(b) For a transportation project constructed by a corporation, the corporation may contract with the commission for the commission to:\n(1) supervise the construction; or\n(2) provide construction management services.\n(c) A corporation and a county, a home-rule municipality, a county road district created under Chapter 257, or a road utility district created under Chapter 441 may contract to pay jointly the cost of a transportation project designated by the commission. The contract may obligate the corporation to design, construct, or improve the transportation project.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
