Transportation Code § 441.027","heading":"OTHER CONSIDERATIONS IN GRANTING OR DENYING PETITION.","body":"Before the commission adopts an order under Section 441.024, it may:\n(1) consult with each governmental entity that has submitted an approval statement regarding suggested changes in the plan;\n(2) suggest or direct that the petitioners change the plan for a district road facility, including deleting a road facility, so as to make the plan acceptable to the commission; and\n(3) consider the environmental effects of the proposals in the preliminary plan.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
