Transportation Code § 451.154","heading":"STATION OR TERMINAL COMPLEX: LIMITATION ON REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION.","body":"(a) An interest in real property may not be acquired for station or terminal complex facilities described by Section 451.152(2) unless the property:\n(1) is 1,500 feet or less from the center point of the station or terminal complex; or\n(2) if farther than 1,500 feet from the center point of the station or terminal complex, is included in a master development plan adopted by the board and not acquired by eminent domain.\n(b) Notwithstanding Subsection (a), an authority created before 1980 in which the principal municipality has a population of less than 1.9 million may acquire, including through the use of eminent domain, an interest in real property for facilities if the property:\n(1) is 2,500 feet or less from the center point of the station or terminal complex; or\n(2) is included in a master development plan adopted by the board.\n(c) Before the commencement of an eminent domain proceeding to which this section applies, the board shall designate the center point of the station or terminal complex.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
