Transportation Code § 451.601","heading":"UNIT OF ELECTION DEFINED.","body":"In this subchapter, \"unit of election\" means:\n(1) a municipality, including a principal municipality;\n(2) an unincorporated area designated by a commissioners court under Section 451.657 as a discrete unit for the purposes of a confirmation election; or\n(3) an emergency services district operating under Chapter 775, Health and Safety Code, that:\n(A) borders Lake Travis; and\n(B) is located in or borders two municipalities with a population of more than 45,000.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
