Transportation Code § 452.543","heading":"BOARD OFFICERS.","body":"(a) A subregional board shall elect from its membership a presiding officer, assistant presiding officer, and secretary.\n(b) The board may appoint, as necessary, members or nonmembers as assistant secretaries.\n(c) The secretary or assistant secretary shall:\n(1) keep permanent records of each proceeding and transaction of the board; and\n(2) perform other duties assigned by the board.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
