Transportation Code § 460.057","heading":"CONFIRMATION ELECTION.","body":"(a) The interim executive committee shall notify the commissioners court of the need to call a confirmation election.\n(b) The commissioners court in ordering the confirmation election shall submit to the qualified voters in the county the following proposition:\n\"Shall the creation of (name of authority) be confirmed?\"\n(c) In addition to other information required by law, the notice of the election must include:\n(1) a brief description of the service plan; and\n(2) a statement that an imposition of a tax to pay for the service plan must be approved by the voters at a subsequent election.\n(d) The election must be held on a uniform election date.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1186, Sec. 1, eff.
