Transportation Code § 463.104","heading":"CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER: DUTIES.","body":"(a) The general manager or executive director, as designated under Section 463.101(a)(1), shall administer the daily operation of an authority.\n(b) In conformity with the policy of the executive committee, the general manager or executive director may:\n(1) employ persons to conduct the affairs of the authority, including any operating or management company; and\n(2) remove any employee.\n(c) The general manager or executive director shall prescribe the duties, tenure, and compensation of each person employed.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 151 (H.B. 71), Sec. 1, eff.
