Transportation Code § 502.471","heading":"GENERAL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person violates a provision of this chapter and no other penalty is prescribed for the violation.\n(b) This section does not apply to a violation of Section 502.003, 502.042, 502.197, or 502.431.\n(c) Unless otherwise specified, an offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $200.\nTransferred, redesignated and amended from Transportation Code, Section 502.401 by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1296 (H.B. 2357), Sec. 155, eff.
