Transportation Code § 504.622","heading":"GIRL SCOUT LICENSE PLATES.","body":"(a) The department shall issue specialty license plates that include the words \"Girl Scouts.\" The department shall design the license plates in consultation with the Girl Scout Councils of Texas.\n(b) After deduction of the department's administrative costs, the remainder of the fee for issuance of the license plates shall be deposited to the credit of the Girl Scout account in the state treasury. Money in the account may be used by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in making grants to benefit educational projects sponsored by the Girl Scout Councils of Texas.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1320, Sec. 6, eff.
