Transportation Code § 521.026","heading":"DISMISSAL OF EXPIRED LICENSE CHARGE.","body":"(a) A judge may dismiss a charge of driving with an expired license if the defendant remedies this defect within 20 working days or before the defendant's first court appearance date, whichever is later.\n(b) The judge may assess the defendant a reimbursement fee not to exceed $20 when the charge of driving with an expired driver's license is dismissed under Subsection (a).\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
