Transportation Code § 521.318","heading":"NONRESIDENTS.","body":"(a) The department may suspend or revoke a nonresident's operating privilege in the same manner and for the same causes as a driver's license issued under this chapter.\n(b) On receipt of a record of conviction of a nonresident in this state under the motor vehicle laws of this state, the department may forward a certified copy of the record to the motor vehicle administrator of the state or Canadian province of which the convicted person is a resident.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
