Transportation Code § 521.3465","heading":"AUTOMATIC SUSPENSION ON CONVICTION OF CERTAIN OFFENSES INVOLVING FICTITIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE PLATES, REGISTRATION INSIGNIA, OR VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORTS.","body":"(a) A license is automatically suspended on final conviction of the license holder of:\n(1) an offense under Section 502.475(a)(4); or\n(2) an offense under Section 548.603(a)(1) that involves a fictitious vehicle inspection report.\n(b) A suspension under this section is for 180 days.\n(c) If the person is a resident of this state without a driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, the director shall issue an order prohibiting the person from being issued a driver's license before the 181st day after the date of the conviction.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 851, Sec. 4, eff.
