Transportation Code § 543.114","heading":"DISTRIBUTION OF WRITTEN INFORMATION ON PROVIDER.","body":"(a) A person may not distribute written information to advertise a provider of a driving safety course within 500 feet of a court having jurisdiction over an offense to which this subchapter applies. A violation of this section by a provider or a provider's agent, employee, or representative results in loss of the provider's status as a provider of a course approved under Chapter 1001, Education Code.\n(b) This section does not apply to distribution of information:\n(1) by a court;\n(2) to a court to obtain approval of the course; or\n(3) to a court to advise the court of the availability of the course.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
