Transportation Code § 547.334","heading":"SINGLE-BEAM LIGHTING EQUIPMENT PERMITTED.","body":"(a) In lieu of the multiple-beam lighting equipment required by Section 547.333, a headlamp system that provides a single distribution of light and meets the requirements of Subsection (b) is permitted for:\n(1) a farm tractor; or\n(2) a motor vehicle manufactured and sold before September 4, 1948.\n(b) The headlamp system specified by Subsection (a) shall:\n(1) emit a light sufficient to reveal a person or vehicle at a distance of at least 200 feet; and\n(2) be aimed so that no part of the high-intensity portion of the lamp projects a beam:\n(A) higher than five inches below the level of the center of the lamp at a distance of 25 feet ahead; or\n(B) higher than 42 inches above the ground at a distance of 75 feet ahead.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
