Transportation Code § 547.508","heading":"OFFENSE RELATING TO WARNING DEVICES.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a person may not remove, damage, destroy, misplace, or extinguish a warning device required under Sections 547.502-547.507 when the device is being displayed or used as required.\n(b) This section does not apply to:\n(1) an owner of a vehicle or the owner's authorized agent or employee; or\n(2) a peace officer acting in an official capacity.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
