Transportation Code § 552.0036","heading":"SIDEWALK USER RIGHT-OF-WAY AT STOP SIGN.","body":"A sidewalk user approaching an intersection with a stop sign shall:\n(1) stop before entering the crosswalk; and\n(2) after stopping, yield the right-of-way to a vehicle that:\n(A) has entered the intersection; or\n(B) is approaching the intersection so closely as to be an immediate hazard to the sidewalk user entering or moving across the crosswalk.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 207 (S.B. 2039), Sec. 6, eff.
