Transportation Code § 601.266","heading":"RELEASE ON INVOLUNTARY TRANSFER OF TITLE OF IMPOUNDED MOTOR VEHICLE.","body":"(a) Notwithstanding Section 601.262, the court shall order the release of a motor vehicle impounded under Section 601.261 if, while the vehicle is impounded, title to the vehicle is transferred by:\n(1) foreclosure;\n(2) sale on execution;\n(3) cancellation of a conditional sales contract; or\n(4) judicial order.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
