Transportation Code § 601.341","heading":"EVIDENCE OF FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY; TERMINATION OF PENALTY.","body":"Unless a person whose driver's license or vehicle registration has been suspended or revoked under this subchapter files and maintains evidence of financial responsibility with the department:\n(1) the suspension or revocation may not be terminated;\n(2) the driver's license or registration may not be renewed;\n(3) a new driver's license may not be issued to the person; or\n(4) a motor vehicle may not be registered in the name of the person.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
