Transportation Code § 623.124","heading":"FEE.","body":"(a) An application for a permit must be accompanied by a fee of $15.\n(b) The department shall send each fee collected under this section to the comptroller. Of each fee received from the department, the comptroller shall deposit:\n(1) $7.50 to the credit of the general revenue fund; and\n(2) of the remainder:\n(A) 90 percent to the credit of the state highway fund; and\n(B) 10 percent to the credit of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles fund.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
