Transportation Code § 623.182","heading":"PERMIT FEE.","body":"(a) The fee for a permit under this subchapter is $100.\n(b) The department shall send each fee collected under this subchapter to the comptroller. Of each fee received from the department, the comptroller shall deposit $50 to the credit of the general revenue fund and of the remainder the department shall deposit:\n(1) 90 percent to the credit of the state highway fund; and\n(2) 10 percent to the credit of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles fund.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
