Transportation Code § 623.404","heading":"PERMIT FEE.","body":"(a) An application for a permit under Section 623.402(a) or (b) must be accompanied by a permit fee of $6,000, of which:\n(1) 50 percent shall be deposited to the credit of the state highway fund;\n(2) 30 percent shall be equally divided among and distributed to each county designated in the permit application;\n(3) 16 percent shall be equally divided among and distributed to each municipality designated in the permit application; and\n(4) 4 percent shall be deposited to the credit of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles fund.\n(b) Repealed by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1129 (H.B. 2620), Sec. 14(3), eff.
