Transportation Code § 66.034","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS FOR CERTIFICATE.","body":"To be eligible for a certificate as a deputy branch pilot, a person must:\n(1) be at least 25 years of age;\n(2) be a United States citizen;\n(3) hold a license under federal law to act as a pilot on vessels that navigate water on which the applicant will furnish pilot services;\n(4) be in good mental and physical health;\n(5) have good moral character; and\n(6) possess the requisite skill to perform competently and safely the duties of a deputy branch pilot.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
