Transportation Code § 662.006","heading":"UNAUTHORIZED TRAINING PROHIBITED.","body":"(a) A person may not offer or conduct training in motorcycle operation for consideration unless the person:\n(1) is licensed as a motorcycle school under this chapter;\n(2) offers and conducts training in accordance with a motorcycle operator training curriculum approved by the department; and\n(3) employs or contracts with an instructor licensed under this chapter to conduct the training.\n(b) A person who violates Subsection (a) commits an offense. An offense under this subsection is a Class B misdemeanor, except that the offense is a Class A misdemeanor if it is shown on the trial of the offense that the defendant has been previously convicted of an offense under this section.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
