Transportation Code § 70.033","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS FOR CERTIFICATE.","body":"To be eligible for a certificate as a deputy branch pilot, a person must:\n(1) be at least 25 years of age;\n(2) be a United States citizen;\n(3) be appointed by a branch pilot;\n(4) be in good mental and physical health;\n(5) have good moral character; and\n(6) possess the requisite skill as a navigator and pilot to perform competently and safely the duties of a deputy branch pilot.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 359, Sec. 4, eff.
