Transportation Code § 70.037","heading":"DEPUTY BRANCH PILOT APPOINTMENT BY BRANCH PILOT.","body":"(a) Each branch pilot, subject to examination and approval of the board, may appoint two deputy branch pilots.\n(b) A branch pilot may appoint an additional deputy branch pilot if the board considers the appointment advisable.\n(c) A branch pilot who appoints a deputy branch pilot without the approval of the board forfeits the pilot's appointment as a branch pilot.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 359, Sec. 4, eff.
