Transportation Code § 723.012","heading":"TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAM.","body":"The statewide traffic safety program must include:\n(1) a driver education and training program administered by the governor through appropriate agencies that complies with Section 723.013;\n(2) plans for improving:\n(A) driver licensing;\n(B) collision records;\n(C) vehicle inspection, registration, and titling;\n(D) traffic engineering;\n(E) personnel;\n(F) police traffic supervision;\n(G) traffic courts;\n(H) highway design; and\n(I) uniform traffic laws; and\n(3) plans for local traffic safety programs by legal and political subdivisions of this state that may be implemented if the programs:\n(A) are approved by the governor; and\n(B) conform with uniform standards adopted under the Highway Safety Act of 1966 (23 U.S.C.
