Transportation Code § 723.015","heading":"PARTICIPATION IN PROGRAM BY LEGAL OR POLITICAL SUBDIVISION.","body":"A legal or political subdivision of this state may:\n(1) cooperate and contract with the state, another legal or political subdivision of this state, or a private person in establishing, developing, and maintaining a statewide traffic safety program;\n(2) spend money from any source for an activity related to performing a part of the traffic safety program; and\n(3) contract and pay for a personal service or property to be used in the traffic safety program or for an activity related to the program.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
