Transportation Code § 727.003","heading":"TIRE EQUIPMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE, TRAILER, OR TRACTOR; OFFENSE.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person operates or permits to be operated on a public highway a motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, or tractor equipped with:\n(1) solid rubber tires less than one inch in thickness at any point from the surface to the rim; or\n(2) pneumatic tires, one or more of which has been removed.\n(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $200.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
