Utilities Code § 104.057","heading":"CONSIDERATION OF CERTAIN EXPENSES.","body":"(a) In establishing a gas utility's rates, the regulatory authority may not allow as a cost or expense an expenditure:\n(1) described by Section 102.154 that the regulatory authority determines to be not in the public interest; or\n(2) for legislative advocacy.\n(b) The regulatory authority may allow as a cost or expense reasonable charitable or civic contributions not to exceed the amount approved by the regulatory authority.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff.
