Utilities Code § 14.204","heading":"INSPECTION.","body":"(a) A regulatory authority and, to the extent authorized by the regulatory authority, its counsel, agent, or employee, may:\n(1) inspect and obtain copies of the papers, books, accounts, documents, and other business records of a public utility within its jurisdiction; and\n(2) inspect the plant, equipment, and other property of a public utility within its jurisdiction.\n(b) An action under this section must be conducted at a reasonable time for a reasonable purpose.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff.
