Utilities Code § 162.073","heading":"COMPENSATION OF DIRECTORS.","body":"(a) A director may not receive a salary for services as a director. Except in an emergency, a director may not receive a salary for services in a capacity other than director without the approval of the members.\n(b) The bylaws may:\n(1) prescribe a fixed fee for attendance at each board meeting, committee meeting, industry-related conference approved by the board, or training program; and\n(2) provide for reimbursement of actual expenses of attendance or a reasonable per diem.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff.
