Utilities Code § 186.041","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Emergency\" means a situation in which property or human life is in jeopardy and the prompt summoning of aid is essential.\n(2) \"Party line\" means a subscriber's telephone circuit, consisting of two or more main telephone stations connected with the circuit, each station with a distinctive ring or telephone number.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff.
