Utilities Code § 251.057","heading":"DECLARATION OF BOARD VACANCY.","body":"(a) The board may declare a director's office vacant if the director ceases to be associated with the industry or an operator the director represents.\n(b) Not later than the 60th day after the date a vacancy on the board is declared, the governor shall appoint a person to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 62, Sec. 18.17(a), eff.
