Utilities Code § 39.354","heading":"REGISTRATION OF MUNICIPAL AGGREGATORS.","body":"(a) A municipal aggregator may not provide aggregation services in the state unless the municipal aggregator registers with the commission.\n(b) In this section, \"municipal aggregator\" means a person authorized by two or more municipal governing bodies to join the bodies into a single purchasing unit to negotiate the purchase of electricity from retail electric providers or aggregation by a municipality under Chapter 304, Local Government Code.\n(c) A municipal aggregator may register any time after September 1, 2000.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 405, Sec. 39, eff.
