Utilities Code § 54.005","heading":"NOTICE OF AND HEARING ON APPLICATION.","body":"(a) When an application for a certificate of convenience and necessity, a certificate of operating authority, or a service provider certificate of operating authority is filed, the commission shall:\n(1) give notice of the application to interested parties; and\n(2) if requested:\n(A) set a time and place for a hearing; and\n(B) give notice of the hearing.\n(b) A person interested in the application may intervene at the hearing.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff.
