Utilities Code § 60.101","heading":"PRICING RULE.","body":"(a) The commission shall adopt a pricing rule.\n(b) In adopting the pricing rule, the commission shall:\n(1) ensure that each price for a monopoly service remains affordable;\n(2) ensure that each price for competitive service is not:\n(A) unreasonably preferential, prejudicial, or discriminatory;\n(B) directly or indirectly subsidized by a noncompetitive service; or\n(C) predatory or anticompetitive; and\n(3) require that each service recover the appropriate costs, including joint and common costs, of each facility and function used to provide the service.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff.
