Water Code § 11.406","heading":"JUDICIAL CUSTODY OF WATER DURING APPEAL.","body":"If a party appeals the judgment of the trial court, that court may retain custody of the water which it has previously taken into judicial custody and over which it has appointed a watermaster. Until final judgment is entered in the case, the trial court has exclusive jurisdiction to administer, allocate, and distribute the water retained in its custody, as provided in Section 11.407 of this code.\nAmended by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2207, ch. 870, Sec. 1, eff.
