Water Code § 27.151","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Aquifer storage and recovery project\" means a project involving the injection of water into a geologic formation for the purpose of subsequent recovery and beneficial use by the project operator.\n(2) \"ASR injection well\" means a Class V injection well used for the injection of water into a geologic formation as part of an aquifer storage and recovery project.\n(3) \"ASR recovery well\" means a well used for the recovery of water from a geologic formation as part of an aquifer storage and recovery project.\n(4) \"Native groundwater\" means the groundwater naturally occurring in a geologic formation.\n(5) \"Project operator\" means a person holding an authorization under this subchapter to undertake an aquifer storage and recovery project.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 505 (H.B. 655), Sec. 3, eff.
