Water Code § 36.067","heading":"CONTRACTS.","body":"(a) A district shall contract, and be contracted with, in the name of the district.\n(b) A district may purchase property from any other governmental entity by negotiated contract without the necessity of securing appraisals or advertising for bids.\n(c) A district may use the reverse auction procedure, as defined by Section 2155.062(d), Government Code, for purchasing.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 933, Sec. 2, eff.
